One of Tufts Financial Group’s main goals is to create a culture centered around mentorship. TFG’s mentorship program aims to do just that, by providing underclassmen with resources to consult to learn about different career paths in finance, perfect their resumes, master the interview process, secure internships, and so much more! Every semester, TFG pairs mentees (typically first-years and sophomores) with mentors (typically juniors and seniors on TFG’s executive board) in a program committed to the idea of “paying it forward” and creating a cycle where information and knowledge are passed down to younger generations of Tufts students. Mentors and mentees meet throughout the year, forming connections that have the potential to last well beyond their time at Tufts.
